Findbotr aka Fi. Is a writer that would like to one day become published. She answers to Fi, but her full name is Fiona. Primarily she resides in Victoria, Australia and as with most writers she works full time and writes when the Real World (RW) time constraints allow.
Her life has been described as one that is chaotic at best. Being the middle daughter of a family of Five. She is a caring soul, that always manages to smile, even in the face of adversity. With two of her siblings being disabled she has learned that life is for living and enjoying to its fullest. Gypsy (not her real name) is Fi’s eldest sister, and she has Cerebral Palsy and intellectual disabilities; then there is CB (not her real name) who has Downs Syndrome. There is also Rev Head (not his real name) that is the son of Gypsy, who has severe disabilities. Legally blind, deaf and mute, he has glactocema, and epilepsy. They are a handful, but not so bad with the circle of friends that all assist with the care required.
Fi’s parents have been the pillars of strength. Though as they are aging, she has taken on the mantel of looking after most of the families affairs. Both physical and financial, the past few months have been trying times and some of that information can be located through her other blog.
Her education was nothing special, though she is a great believer in continuing education.

Fi has attained Certificate IV in Community Services – Disability, Certificate III in Community Services – Personal Care, Certificates II & III in Security Provisions. There is also a number of other certificates that she has attained over her life time. Ranging from Documentation and Resident Classification scale, First Aid level II & III, Safe Manual Handling, and Specialist Workplace Trainer – Disabilities. Among the many that she has achieved. Currently she is studying to attain her Gaming License and Armed Guard license. Fi is always on the look out for course’s that relate to the field that she works within. Which at the moment is Security and will more than likely stay that way until she retires or becomes a published author that no longer requires outside employment to sustain a healthy income.
Fi has been reading and writing since she was about six years of age. Writing and illustrating her first unpublished novel in grade six. The school teacher apparently took the book, but she recalls the tale being named the ‘Little Cloud that cried.‘ Avid reader is our dear Fi. She is constantly reading and scribbling notes, her second book ‘Musty the Dragon‘ (yet unpublished and unpolished) can be found here. Along with some of her other selected works.
Her passion is writing and helping others learn their craft. Hence the links to the Legends of Mernac on the left of the screen. Fi is the creator of Anemo Eolic, from the Legends of Mernac. Fi is also a contributing member of Fun Writers Weekly Challenge. To which there are many great and valuable writers, artists and journalists, available on-site.
Fiona understands that a lot of passion goes into writing and is a advocate of researching pieces to lend a bit of authenticity to the chosen subject. Fi has been a mentor for many writers and friend to many more. Such as James Spencer another writer who has become a dear and valued friend. Fona is also painfully aware that her punctuation requires some work and is constantly on the look out for a soul that has a ton of patience, that is prepared to undo the lessons that were taught incorrectly through her earlier educational years.
People have asked Fi what is her favorite genre. In relation to reading, it’s what tickles her fancy at the time. But mostly her book cases are full of Fantasy novels and Alternative therapies books. It is known that there is two shelves of books that Fi has not read yet, and her husband has told her not to buy anymore novels until she has finished the ones she has. (Though that doesn’t stop her from reading e-books and other works online.)
Primarily Fi prefers to write in the Fantasy Genre and she has been known to take a foray into the Erotic on occasion. She also likes to write a little poetry and if the mood takes her she will attempt to write a song or ditty.
Fiona is a Happily married mother of Three Sons (Gobble Dock, Blue & Boo), two cats (Dragon & Ghost) and a myriad of fish (too many to name and too easily mistaken as they all look similar.) There are many close friends in her life and she is a founding member of her own local Womens Circle. Fi is at times somewhat outrageous in nature and often calls black, black and white, white. She can talk to just about anyone and is a natural information gatherer. Fi is also a bower bird, she likes her nick nacks, (though she is learning not to buy as many as it makes it harder to dust.) Fi has two adoptive family members, (initially they were friends, but since they have been long standing friend they have become members of the family.) Coat Hanger, is her best male friend and bro. KK is her chocolate supplier and sis. (Though KK has managed to turn Fi away from the sweets, especially around Christmas time. Long story for another time.)
